Gallery Central Nhill is not open on Mondays but we can open the gallery "after hours" by appointment.

As a not for profit Gallery Central Inc has fundraising events throughout the year to go toward the Gallery's sustainability, the occasional donations from generous philanthropists also goes a long way toward meeting G.C.Inc monthly/annual running costs. Gallery Central Inc, showcases original, quality works of art by local artists/artisans, both established and emerging. From Victoria 3418. Recently this has been extended to artists located within the Hindmarsh Shire area.

Renovations to refurbish the Gallery Central space started in 2019. The extended gallery area has provided a fresh new addition to the gallery. The extension has allowed the Gallery to maximise the flow of our display area by making it into one long gallery display area.

We are very excited at the opportunities that this new area will provide us with as a gallery to further showcase our local artists’ work. We have been provided with an amazing area, the walls in themselves providing a new retro urban show space with which to entice both the artist and art lovers with the amazing display potential of this delightful building.

The public are encouraged to continue to come in and see the new area, and see the amazing local art which continues to come in through its doors, and also to leave through its doors in the hands of art loving customers.

We are always looking for new artists to join our gallery and we have membership forms at the counter. Also, if you feel volunteering in the gallery could interest you, please come and talk to us.
